Well the time has come. The time to prepare my Spartans for a raping of Wildcat proportions.
Once again, by a miracle of Jesus, a team on a bye week has climbed the rankings. Timmy you now own ranking #15.
BC's Michigan remains in #24 and faces an Illinois fresh off a bye week, but who lost their last game v Northern Illinois by 12 points.
I will let Timmy write this week's game recap, as I won't be able to see the keyboard through my tears LOL.
Good luck guys (except timmy).

Well, the matchup of the weak has been won by Timmy6321's Northwestern. The game started out bad from MSU, and they never recovered.
ReplyDeleteThe 2nd play of the game was an intercept from to Northwestern's Sophmore corner Tim Weak. It couldnt be a better way for the young man to start the game, but things would get better for him.
The interception was turned into points as Nothwestern star WR Jeremy Ebert took a short slant to the house.
Northwestern 7-0.
Things wouldnt improve for MSU as there next drive ended much the same as the first except this time it was much maligned Safety Carpenter with the timely INT. Northwestern could only turn this opportunity into 3 points.
Memory getting hazy.....
Next drive ended in a punt from MSU, and Northwestern capatalised on field position to put up another FG to end the first quarter leading 13-0.
MSU's one bright spot came in the second half with QB Cousin completing a long bomb to Fred Smith for a 59 yard TD connection, MSU went for 2 and were successful biring the game back to one possesion 16-8.
Thats as close as MSU got as CB Tim Weak dominated the secondary claiming another 2 INT's late in the game. Despite Northwestern also giving up posession on an INT they were able to kick another FG to take a 2 possession lead with less than a minute to go.

Notes:
Despite being targetted by MSU Head Coach Wolfman midweek, Heisman candidate Jeremey Ebert had a solid day with 7 receptions for 109 yards and a TD.
Sophmore Tim Weak, a second year starter took 3 interceptions.
MSU's All-American running back "insert name" had a terrible day being held to 17 rushing yards by a dominate NU front 7.
A bucket load of spelling and grammar errors !!!
