Off Season

Firstly, a huge "Well Done" to Timmy for taking out the BCS National Title game. A superb season from start to finish.

BC tasted Bowl success also, with a comfortable win in the Champs Bowl.

Spartans started the trifecta with an Alamo Bowl victory over much fancied Texas Longhorns.

So we now turn our focus towards the Off Season. This time of year (Christmas, not off season) is always very busy for everyone, so I anticipate some time before we will all 3 be available to sit down and work our way through things.

I have tweaked a few sliders to try and make and 12-0 seasons a little bit harder. Any suggestions, post them here as comments.

Also, if you could post any potential availabilities for the Off Season schedule, it would be greatly appreciated. I am working through Xmas, so I can make it pretty much any night.

A final note, if you guys know of anyone who has the game and would be interested in an Online Dynasty, please feel free to invite them (I will have to be made aware of their PSN so I can invite them). Now is the time to do it, so they get a full Off-Season/Pre-Season before we kick off again. The more, the merrier.

Thanks again for a great season. Have a safe and happy holiday.

Cheers,
WolfMan

Week 13

Unlucky for some....Week 13 is here.

Timmy's Northwestern comes fresh off their Bye last week to travel to Illinois (3-7), in what should be a standard W for the best team in the country.

BC's Michigan come through a heartbreaking loss last week, and it doesn't get any easier as they face a strong Ohio State outfit. [Both teams with identical 9-2 records thus far]

Spartans took it to OT last week, but will be hoping to come out on top within 4 quarters this week as they entertain Penn State (6-4)

Best of luck as always.

Epic Fumble Return

Hey guys. Just wanted to share something with you from my 1UP Dynasty with Colorado.

Down by 8 in the Third Quarter, Texas Tech were looking to make it a 2 possession game, with a full set of downs from the 2 yard line. This play happened on 3rd and Goal. Enjoy :-)

Week 12

For the first time since Week 6, all 3 of us managed to win our matchups! It's the little things that we have to celebrate LOL.

Timmy and his Number 1 ranked Northwestern have a Bye Week, leaving BC's Michigan and my Spartans to retain the legacy.

#17 Michigan travel to Wisconsin (7-2) in what should be a good conference matchup Fresh from a Bye Week, and on a win streak of 3, Wisconsin will be looking to improve a respectable conference record of 4-2.

Back to winning ways v Indiana last week, the Spartans will have their best chance at ensuring at least a winning season when they host Purdue (5-5).

Feel free to post match reviews etc. below as comments.

Week 10 and Week 11

Week 10 has been, and gone. I have been slack...sorry guys.

Timmy rolls on to 9-0 with a solid victory this week over Indiana (35-14). And in Week 11 news, that takes Timmy to the Number 1 BCS ranking :-) Rose Bowl woooot. Obviously we will need to tinker with the AI in the offseason to make things a lil more difficult. Except for me. I suck haha j/k

BC and I had a really enjoyable match. His running game was rolling, and at least twice had drives lasting 10 plays or more. Really solid effort. Defensively, he stuffed any run game I even thought about. I aired it out decently, but the the "Lag Monster" hit us both. Sooooo bad, BC will vouch for this, I wondered at one stage if I could forfeit the match, it was doing my head in. Thankfully we carried on, and with about 1:50 left in the 4th qtr. normal service was resumed. I may have to invest in a long patch lead to run from the PS3 to wireless router, instead of wi-fi.

Anyway final score was 24-18.

BC faces a 3-5 Minnesota, in a bid to boost his current ranking from #19.
My Spartans are looking to return to the Winners Circle and rescue a once promising season from a losing record. Indiana will be the visitors in this clash.

Best of luck, and post comments/reviews below.

Cheers,
WolfMan.

Week 9

Week 9 is here.

The red-hot Northwestern travel to #21 Purdue (5-2) in what I hope will be a decent test for Timmy.

Conversely, a 2-5 Iowa lay ahead of BC's Michigan, who have slipped to #22 in the rankings, probably due to the inferior quality of opponent last week in the shape of Akron.

Spartans have a 5-2 Wisconsin job to face. Confidence is at a low point after last week's gut-wrenching loss to a mid-range opponent.
